On February 24th, 2022 Ukraine was attacked by russia. Within days, a bunch of passionate Houston-based Ukrainians and Americans with Ukrainian roots formed a group called HTX4Ukraine.
Some of HTX4Ukraine volunteers were already active in the local Ukrainian community, having served on the boards of multiple non-profits, as well as actively fundraised to aid Ukrainian people during the initial invasion and annexation of Crimea by russia in 2014. Some have joined us for the first time at the corner of Post Oak Boulevard and Westheimer Road on the night of the first bombings.
